We are developing our book sales section – good quality books that duplicate our stock. All proceeds from sales go back to helping the library. We can provide stalls at book fairs, conferences and community events – let us know and we’ll do our best to be there.
Most of our books are sold at very low prices – typically either £2 – though some more specialist/rare books are priced at £5 or £10. We have several spare copies of the excellent David and Charles series of railway histories, and Oakwood Press titles, for example. Many for just £3.
We have several spare bound volumes of Railway Magazine, stretching back to the early 1900s. These are real gems and much cheaper than what you would be pay to a specialist bookseller. Most are for sale at £10 but a few of the older ones (in good condition) are £20.

Come and have a look! At this stage we are not doing sales by post, you have to come and see for yourself. But it’s a great day out, and easily reachable by train.
