Become a supporter!

We need your support

The library is a developing resource and we need funding to allow it to grow – maintaining a website, heating, lighting etc. has costs and getting the collection catalogued will be expensive. We would like to have a purchasing budget for specialist books which enhance the collection in priority areas.

We are setting up a special category of ‘supporter’ which will bring us valuable income – we’re suggesting a contribution of around £25 and for this you will get a  newsletter, access to special events including monthly talks, and the knowledge that you are helping a unique resource.

The library will always be free to use, open to everyone. If you want to become a supporter please email us at info@stationlibrary.org.uk or use the form here: KB Station Library Supporter

Please download the form and either post it to us with your donation or scan it and email to info@stationlibrary.org.uk and send a contribution by BACS. The account (business) is Kents Bank Station Library  Account no. 10956220 Sort code: 54-10-17

We are also keen to explore corporate sponsorship, which can be in cash or in kind – e.g. providing specialist expertise in various fields. Please contact us for details.

Why not volunteer?

An even better way to help is by becoming a volunteer in the library. It doesn’t have to be a huge

commitment – as little as a day a month. And all we ask of people is to be a friendly welcoming face for visitors. There might be a few book sales to handle, making cups of tea and coffee and a bit of shelving. We’re also tring to get the collection catalogued and we need help with that, but not everye’s idea of fun! Want to know more? Give Paul a ring on 07795 008691 or email us.
